Who Can Apply
Instructional Leaders who turnkey trainings for district staff
Requirements
Only staff who plan to turnkey the trainings for staff may apply; participants must sign and return a Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) once accepted; participants must complete the self-paced TOT training modules within the provided training window, participants must submit data to the ECAS team and share a grant survey for LEA-trained staff to complete.
The ECAS Initiative and the Children’s Learning Institute (CLI) have partnered once again to provide a virtual, self-paced, asynchronous Training of the Trainers (TOT) opportunity for the Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment (TX-KEA) in Early Spring 2024. This opportunity is for all instructional leaders across Texas who are in a position to turnkey the information to stakeholders in their district or open-enrollment charter.
These TOTs will allow trained instructional leaders to turnkey the sessions to stakeholders in their district or open-enrollment charter. The topics covered in the TOT include the following objectives:
Interested instructional leaders will apply for a seat in the TOT for the Early Spring 2024 window. Preference will be given to those who have a plan to turnkey the presentation, as well as those who share tentative dates for training district staff. Recipient instructional leaders will be responsible for coordinating these trainings and identifying which staff will be participating.
